It is a walkie-talkie service. Your team carries tough radios that work like the walkie-talkies they already know: press to speak, and everyone on the channel hears you right away. The difference is the range: instead of relying on an antenna you have to install and license, the audio travels over the cell network, so it reaches 99.6% of the US. We supply the radios, the wireless service and the setup, and we run it for you. Industry calls this push-to-talk over cellular, or PTToC.

What is PTToC?
PTToC stands for push-to-talk over cellular. It delivers the instant one-button voice experience of a two-way radio, but carries the audio over LTE and Wi-Fi networks instead of a local repeater system.
Do we need an antenna installed?
No. A standard Managed PTToC deployment needs no customer-owned repeater, frequency license or coverage engineering. Voice travels over supported cellular and Wi-Fi networks.
Does it work over Wi-Fi?
Yes. Supported radios can use Wi-Fi as well as cellular data, which is useful inside warehouses, hotels and other buildings with strong wireless coverage.
How far will the radios work?
Radios communicate wherever supported cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity is available, so the working area follows network availability rather than the range of a tower you own. Coverage is confirmed against your specific sites and routes before deployment.
Can I see radio locations?
Yes. Supported radios report GPS position to the dispatch and management environment, with location history and geofence alerts available where configured.
Can dispatch communicate directly with one employee?
Yes. A dispatcher can place a private call to an individual radio as well as talk to a full group, which keeps routine one-to-one traffic off the shared channel.
Can we create different groups for departments or sites?
Yes. Talk groups are designed around your departments, sites, job functions or shifts, and Integrated Radio maintains that structure as the organization changes.
Can Integrated Radio manage the radios for us?
Yes. That is the core of the service. We handle provisioning, activation, talk-group design, user administration, configuration changes, troubleshooting and fleet growth.
Can this connect to the radios we already own?
Interoperability options are available for selected existing radio environments through gateway and radio-over-IP integration. Compatibility is assessed against your specific system before we commit to it.
Is there a radio that is safe around fuel and gas?
An intrinsically safe PTToC radio is available for approved hazardous-location applications. Suitability must be confirmed against the exact device certification, environment classification and accessories before deployment.
What happens if cellular coverage is unavailable?
Where there is no supported cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, a PTToC radio cannot pass traffic. For sites with known coverage gaps we review the options during design, including Wi-Fi coverage and interoperability with an existing local radio system.
Can we add radios later?
Yes. Adding users and radios is a routine change request. New radios are provisioned, assigned and shipped configured, and the billing adjusts with the fleet.
