How does Zello transcription work?
Voice messages are converted to text, so users can read a message in a loud or quiet place where listening is not practical.
Can Zello translate between languages?
Yes. On Plus, Zello Translations help crews who speak different languages understand each other's messages.
What is Zello Message Vault?
Message Vault is a cloud archive of your Zello messages. Authorized admins can search, play back and export them for review or record-keeping.
How do Zello Emergency Alerts work?
A user triggers a dedicated emergency alert that is routed to designated channels with their location. Not a substitute for 911 or code-required life-safety systems.
Can we move from Core to Plus later?
Yes. Moving an account from Managed Zello Core to Plus is a change request we handle for you. The Plus features switch on once the account is upgraded, and billing moves to $34.95 per user per month.
Do we need Plus for location history?
Yes. Historical breadcrumb tracking and Google Maps traffic are Plus features. Real-time location, status and battery are on both plans.
Is a Dispatch Hub seat included with Plus?
No. Plus unlocks the advanced Dispatch Hub features, but each dispatcher seat is added separately at $19.95 per month.
What support comes with Plus?
Integrated Radio manages your service day to day, and Plus adds 24/7 Zello support behind us.
When should we choose Plus over Core?
Choose Plus if you need message records, multilingual crews, Emergency Alerts or a busy dispatch desk. If your team mainly needs voice, Core is usually enough.
