Zello Dispatch Hub is Zello’s desktop dispatch app for PC and Mac. A dispatcher can take incoming push-to-talk calls, talk to one person or a whole channel, send text and photos, see users on a live map and replay logged calls. Integrated Radio adds it as a seat for $19.95 per dispatcher per month on Managed Zello Core or Managed Zello Plus. It is software on a computer you already have, not a hardware console.

Everything from one screen
Dispatch Hub installs on the Windows PC or Mac a dispatcher already uses, so there is no console hardware to buy or maintain. Adding a second position, for a night supervisor or another depot, is another seat rather than another box. Calls are logged, so a dispatcher can replay anything missed instead of asking someone to repeat it. Most of what follows works on either plan. The shared call queue, transcription, dispatch channel analytics and Emergency Alerts require Managed Zello Plus, and we confirm the setup when we quote.

Do we need special hardware?
No. Dispatch Hub is a desktop app for Windows PCs and Macs. There is no console to install and no radio rack in the office.
Can we have more than one dispatcher?
Yes. Each dispatcher needs a seat at $19.95 per month. On Managed Zello Plus, several dispatchers can work from one shared incoming call queue.
Does Dispatch Hub work with Managed Zello Core?
Yes. You can add seats to Core or Plus. On Core, dispatchers get calls, channels, messaging and live location. The shared call queue, transcription, analytics and Emergency Alerts require Plus.
Is traffic recorded?
Calls are logged in Dispatch Hub so they can be replayed. Transcription, and the Message Vault archive with search, playback and export, are part of Managed Zello Plus.
Who normally sits at the dispatch position?
Rarely a dedicated dispatcher, in our experience. It is usually a supervisor, a control room operator or a duty manager who keeps Dispatch Hub open on their computer alongside other work. Because it is software rather than a hardware console, it does not need someone assigned to it full time.
Can a dispatcher see where everyone is?
Yes. Dispatch Hub shows users on a live map, so a dispatcher can send the nearest person rather than calling round. Breadcrumb history is available afterwards for reviewing what happened. Accuracy depends on the device and the conditions.
What happens when someone raises an emergency?
On Managed Zello Plus, Emergency Alerts route a user's panic button to designated channels with their location, so a supervisor or control room sees it at once. Core does not include Emergency Alerts. Not a substitute for 911 or code-required life-safety systems.
