Where it fits, and how it arrives
The IR-50 belongs in the cab: delivery vans, service trucks, yard tractors, snow plows, school and shuttle buses, and any fleet where the driver should be talking on a hand microphone rather than holding a handheld. It runs on 13 to 24 V vehicle power, so nothing needs charging, and the 1.77-inch color screen shows the current talk group without distracting from the road. Large fleets choose it because it is the lowest-cost way to put every vehicle on the same push-to-talk network as the handhelds back at the depot.
A typical IR-50 order is one unit per vehicle, shipped with the mounting bracket, hand microphone and DC power cable, already assigned to the vehicle and its talk groups so the dispatch map shows the truck by name. Installation and the vehicle power connection are quoted separately where you need us to fit it; many fleets have their own shop do the bracket and cable. The wide LTE band list covers the major carriers, and Wi-Fi keeps it connected in the yard.
